Fire-proof and anti-static ball valves are produced per national steel ball valve standards for petrochemical and related industries, with CNC precision processing, two-way sealing and pressure-bearing designs. Their soft seals use Dajin M111/PTFE, a material with strong toughness, temperature resistance, aging resistance and stable performance.
They meet API607 and JB/6899-1993 standards for fire and static protection.
In case of fire around the valve or in the pipeline, the fireproof ball valve uses medium force to bring the ball into contact with the metal valve seat (valve body), achieving sealing to prevent fire spread to downstream pipelines.
For anti-static function: static electricity is generated when the ball rubs against the soft seal during switching. This is dangerous with flammable/explosive media in the pipeline. Thus, the valve is equipped with anti-static components to guide static electricity from the ball to external devices, preventing hazards.
