Double Eccentric Soft Sealing Electric Butterfly Valve (D942X): 1. Bidirectional zero-leakage seal
Double eccentric structure: when closed, the disc presses against the rubber seat, achieving Grade VI seal in both forward and reverse flow directions, while most concentric butterfly valves can only achieve one-way seal.
2. Almost no friction during opening and closing, long service life of the sealing ring
During the switching process, the disc is out of contact with the rubber seat, and only presses into place at the moment of full closure, reducing rubber wear, which has obvious advantages in large-diameter working conditions.
3. Low opening and closing torque
Compared with concentric soft-sealing butterfly valves of the same caliber, the required switching torque is lower, allowing the selection of electric actuators with smaller power and reducing equipment procurement costs.
4. Compact structure and light weight
The valve body is short, occupying less pipeline space. For large diameters above DN1000, installation and hoisting are much more convenient than gate valves and globe valves.
5. Easy maintenance
The rubber sealing ring can be disassembled and replaced without scrapping the entire valve; the electric actuator is equipped with manual emergency operation, allowing manual switching during power outages.
6. Supports switch + regulation
Optional regulating electric actuator (4‑20mA signal), which can be used as both a shut-off valve and for regulating pipeline flow.
7. Good corrosion resistance, suitable for water supply and drainage
The ductile iron valve body is epoxy sprayed, paired with EPDM rubber, suitable for normal-temperature media such as tap water, reclaimed water, sewage, municipal water conservancy.
