The spiral gasket is a composite sealing element made by alternating spiral winding of stainless steel strips with flexible materials such as graphite and polytetrafluoroethylene. Both ends are fixed by spot welding. It is mainly used for flange connection sealing in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, and power.
Its structure is divided into basic type, inner ring type, outer ring type, and inner and outer ring type. The inner and outer rings are made of 304, 316, etc. stainless steel, which can enhance sealing performance and positioning alignment. It is suitable for medium and low pressure dovetail surfaces, flat surfaces, or concave-convex surface flanges. This gasket adopts V-shaped or W-shaped steel strip structure. The working pressure range is ≤ 25 MPa. It is suitable for flanges with protruding surfaces and heat exchangers, etc. The non-metallic filling materials include flexible graphite strips, asbestos strips, etc. The thickness of the non-metallic strips is 0.3 - 1.0 mm, which complies with domestic and international technical standards such as ASME B16.20 and HG/T 20610.
