A swing check valve, also known as a hinge check valve or tilting disc check valve, is a common type of automatic valve. Its core function is to allow medium to flow in one direction while automatically preventing reverse flow, thereby preventing backflow and protecting equipment and pipeline systems. It relies on the fluid's own pressure and kinetic energy to open the disc. When backflow occurs, the disc closes automatically under its own weight and the force of the reverse fluid. It is named "swing" due to the rotational swinging motion of the disc during opening and closing.
Our manufactured swing check valves are made of GGG50 ductile iron, feature EPDM/bronze seals, SS420 stems, and galvanized carbon steel bolts. Components are replaceable, and products support customization.
Product Specifications: DN50-DN1000
Compliant Standards: BS5163, DIN3302 F6, AWWA C508.
