A Y-type strainer, also known as a debris separator or strainer valve, is an essential pipeline component in fluid transport systems. Its core function is to remove mechanical impurities (such as rust, sediment, welding slag, pipeline debris, etc.) from fluids (liquids or gases) to protect downstream critical equipment—including valves, instruments, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers—from wear, clogging, or damage. This ensures the entire system operates safely, stably, and efficiently. It is named "Y-type strainer" because its filter cartridge forms a 45°–60° "Y"-shaped angle with the main pipeline.

Our Y-type strainers are manufactured using GGG50 ductile iron, feature an SS304 strainer screen with a 1.25mm aperture, and are assembled with galvanized carbon steel bolts.
