Operating Instructions
The stainless steel ball valve is operated via a 90-degree rotation for quick on/off control. Its full-bore design ensures minimal flow resistance. Prior to installation, the pipeline must be thoroughly flushed to remove welding slag and debris, preventing damage to the sealing surfaces. During operation, ensure that the handle is parallel to the pipeline for the open position, and perpendicular for the closed position. This valve is primarily designed for shut-off and flow isolation; prolonged use for throttling or flow regulation is not recommended.
Suitable Applications
Thanks to its excellent corrosion resistance, the stainless steel ball valve is widely used for water, solvents, acids, natural gas, and other common media, as well as for demanding services such as oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. It is commonly found in the chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries. Additionally, due to its "wiping" action on the medium during opening and closing, it is also well-suited for high-viscosity fluids or those containing suspended particles, such as pulp and slurry.
