Structural Features
1,Full-Bore Design – Flow diameter matches pipe ID. Low flow resistance and pressure drop reduce pumping energy. Ideal for long-distance pipelines and applications with strict pressure drop requirements.
2,Flexible Wedge Disc – Precision integral casting with excellent rigidity. Optimized wedge loading ensures tight seating contact. Elastic deformation compensates for thermal expansion/contraction, maintaining reliable sealing under temperature fluctuations.
3,OS&Y Construction – Stem nut mounted on yoke. Stem rotates and moves axially. Valve position visibly indicated by stem extension height – no instruments needed, facilitates field inspection, reduces operating errors.
4,Blowout-Proof Stem – Retention device at stem bottom prevents ejection in case of packing failure or pressure surge – ensures operator and equipment safety.
5,Optional Seat Construction – Seal-welded: seat ring fusion-welded to body, no back-leakage path, for critical high-temperature/pressure services. Threaded: seat screwed into body for easy on-site replacement, reducing maintenance costs. Both options available.
Operational Features
Bidirectional Sealing – Symmetrical sealing faces on both sides of the disc provide positive shutoff in either flow direction. No flow-direction consideration during installation – simplifies field assembly and prevents sealing failure due to incorrect orientation.
Packing Replacement Under Pressure – With valve fully open, back-seating isolates packing area from line pressure. Packing can be replaced online without system shutdown or media drainage – avoids production losses.
Flexible Material Options – Body standard in WCB, sealing faces hardened with 13Cr stainless steel – corrosion and galling resistance for water, steam, and oil services. Alternative materials: CF8/CF8M stainless steel, Inconel, Monel – for sour service, high-temperature/high-pressure, and demanding applications.
