ZHEJIANG JODITH INDUSTRY CO.,LTD.
Zhejiang Jodith Industry Co., Ltd. is a professional industrial valve manufacturer integrating design, precision manufacturing, quality inspection, and global sales. Our core products include ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, and stainless steel flanges, manufactured to international standards and serving petroleum, chemical, power, heating, environmental, and water treatment industries.
Product Description
This globe valve series is designed and manufactured per BS 1873, Class 300, 8" (DN200), with straight-through flow path (inlet and outlet on same axis) for low flow resistance and reduced system pressure drop. Body: ASTM A216 WCB. Bolted bonnet, OS&Y construction, seal-welded seat. Suitable for refining, chemical, power, boiler feedwater, steam networks, and heating systems. Media: water, steam, oil, natural gas, and non-corrosive/mildly corrosive fluids. Meets throttling, regulating, and frequent on-off service requirements.
Structural Features
1,Straight-Through Flow Path – Inlet and outlet on common centerline. Minimal flow redirection, low resistance, reduced pressure drop and pumping energy.
2,OS&Y Construction – Stem nut on yoke. Stem rotates and moves axially. Valve position visibly indicated by stem extension height – no instruments needed, facilitates field inspection, reduces operating errors.
3,Seal-Welded Seat – Seat ring fusion-welded to body – no thread loosening, no back-leakage path. Sealing face hardfaced with Stellite (STL) – resistant to galling, scoring, and erosion. Proven sealing integrity at 425°C, Class 300, and thermal cycling. Worn seats can be returned for hardfacing repair and remachining – extends valve service life without body replacement.
4,Blowout-Proof Stem – Built-in retention device at stem bottom prevents stem ejection in case of packing failure or pressure surge – ensures operator and equipment safety.
Operational Features
1,Bidirectional Sealing – Disc and seat provide positive shutoff in either flow direction. No flow-direction-specific installation required – simplifies piping layout, prevents sealing failure due to incorrect orientation.
2,Packing Replacement Under Pressure – With valve fully open, back-seating isolates packing area from line pressure. Packing can be replaced online without system shutdown or media drainage – avoids production losses and restart costs.
3,Flexible Material Options – Body standard in WCB, sealing faces hardfaced with STL – suitable for water, steam, and oil services. Alternative materials available: LCB, WC6/WC9, CF8/CF8M, Inconel, Monel – for sour service, high-temperature/high-pressure, and cryogenic applications.
