The DIN Ductile Iron Bellows Seal Globe Valve is a high-performance globe valve manufactured in accordance with German DIN standards (primarily DIN 3356 for design, DIN 3202 for face-to-face dimensions, DIN 2543-2545 for flange connections, and DIN 3230 for testing and inspection). The valve body is made of ductile iron (GGG-40 / QT400-15 or equivalent), offering high strength, good toughness, and excellent pressure resistance.
Its key sealing feature is a dual sealing system consisting of a metallic bellows (typically multi-layer stainless steel bellows) combined with packing. The bellows is automatically roll-welded to the stem assembly at the lower end and to the connecting plate at the upper end, creating a metallic barrier between the process medium and the atmosphere. This design ensures zero stem leakage. Even if the bellows fails, the packing serves as a secondary seal, meeting international sealing standards and making it ideal for applications with strict leakage requirements.
