DIN PN16 Cast Iron Flange Ball Valve

Categories: Globe Valve Sort

Exhibitor Information
Chengxin Valve Co.,Ltd
The DIN Cast Iron Flanged Ball Valve is a ball valve manufactured according to German DIN standards. The body is typically made of grey cast iron (GG25 / HT200) or ductile iron (GGG40 / QT400), with flanged ends. The closing element is a ball that rotates 90° to open or close the pipeline quickly. It features a compact structure, easy operation, low flow resistance, and reliable sealing.
Main standards applied:

Design & Manufacture: DIN 3357 / EN 12516
Face-to-Face Length: DIN 3202 (F4 or F5 series)
Flange Connection: DIN EN 1092-2 / DIN 2533
Testing & Inspection: DIN 3230 / EN 12266

Key Features:

Full bore or reduced bore design with minimal flow resistance and low pressure drop.
Floating ball construction providing reliable bidirectional sealing.
Blow-out proof stem design, optionally with anti-static device.
Stainless steel ball and stem, PTFE seats for good sealing and corrosion resistance.
Easy operation via lever or worm gear; suitable for electric/pneumatic actuators (ISO 5211 mounting pad).
Suitable for water, oil, gas, and non-corrosive fluids.

Typical Specifications:
Nominal Diameter: DN15 to DN300 (commonly DN15 to DN200)
Nominal Pressure: PN10, PN16 (most common)
Operating Temperature: Generally -10°C to 150°C (depending on seat material; PTFE approximately -20°C to 180°C)
Connection: Flanged (DIN standard)
Operation: Manual, electric, or pneumatic
Widely used in municipal water supply and drainage, HVAC, water treatment, petrochemical, and power systems as an on-off valve in low-pressure pipelines.
