Chengxin Valve Co.,Ltd
The American Standard Ductile Iron Resilient Seated Flanged Gate Valve is a gate valve manufactured in accordance with American standards (primarily AWWA C509/C515 for design, ASME B16.1/B16.5 for flanges, and ASME B16.10 for face-to-face dimensions). The body is made of ductile iron (e.g., ASTM A536 65-45-12 or GGG50), and the wedge is fully encapsulated with resilient rubber (EPDM or NBR) for soft sealing. It features flanged ends. The gate moves perpendicular to the flow direction for full open or close service and is not intended for throttling.
Key Features:
Fully rubber-encapsulated resilient wedge provides bubble-tight, zero-leakage bidirectional sealing.
Ductile iron construction offers high strength and toughness, optimized wall thickness for lighter weight compared to grey cast iron, and higher pressure ratings (up to 250 psi).
Full-bore design with low flow resistance and minimal pressure drop.
Stainless steel stem; available in non-rising stem (NRS) or rising stem (OS&Y) configurations with low operating torque.
Fusion-bonded epoxy coating inside and outside for excellent corrosion resistance; NSF/ANSI 61 compliant for potable water.
Compact structure, easy maintenance, and long service life.
Widely used in municipal water supply, fire protection, wastewater treatment, and industrial circulating water systems as an isolation valve. Particularly suitable for projects complying with American and North American standards.
